Hi there! My name is Ranita, but you can call me Needs. I am a ceramic artist and painter from Wisconsin. I've been a creator ever since I can remember, and went on to open my studio storefront in downtown Oxford, Wisconsin in 2021. In my shop you will find lots of handmade goodies created by me, a collection of works by other artists, and some other gifts/home goods that I adore.

Ceramic work: I am primarily a hand builder (working from slabs, coils, and the pinch method) but occasionally I will throw something on the wheel. All of my dinnerware is microwave and dishwasher safe. As a functional potter, I use food safe glazes free of lead and cadmium.

Paintings: Most of my paintings are acrylic on wood panel and include hanging wire on back. Fish cutout paintings are coated in a glossy medium. 

Customs: As long as it's in my wheelhouse, I'm happy to help you with custom pieces. Turn around time will depend on scale of the project as well as my current workload. No ceramic items over 12in. Feel free to call, text, email, or stop in the shop during my open hours to discuss!
